Are You Crazy About a Discontinued Perfume? Read On!

Do you adore discontinued perfume? I do. I've managed to acquire several and add them to my collection. My personal favorite has to be Coty L'effleur. This fragrance was offered in the early nineties and came in feminine floral packaging. I would best describe L'effleur as a soapy floral, a fragrance that's clean and girly. But it seems that Coty has stopped making this divine scent that was a staple of my high school years.

*** Fashion Ideas *** About skin tanning and fragrance... Once this process is complete, it is advisable to prepare your skin further by applying a moisturizing cream (or lotion) to it which will make the agent easier to apply. Once you have done this you will be ready to apply the tanning lotion or cream but remember to wear latex gloves as long applications mean that the tanning solution coats the hands producing an orange effect on the palms which everyone can see. Also, apply lighter coats on the joints of your fingers, your knees, and your elbows as these areas will appear darker if you do not and the same applies to your feet. Even spray tanning can cause the odd problem if there is an excess and it starts to run so take a towel you no longer want with you to wipe it off.

I lived without L'effleur for years. Then, I realized that I could still find my beloved discontinued perfume online. Thanks to Ebay, I was able to purchase a big bottle of L'effleur for the same price it used to be offered in the stores.

There are other discontinued perfumes that I love also. One of my other all time favorites is BeautiControl Positively You. BeautiControl's founder, Jinger Heath, designed Positively You to smell differently on everyone. What is amazing is that this warm, spicy floral blends with your individual skin chemistry to create a one of a kind scent. It is almost like magic! I have found this fragrance online as well, but I'd say it's a little harder to find that L'effleur.

Another discontinued perfume is Revlon's Intimate. I recall asking my mother for a bottle of this when I was in the sixth grade. I remember that the bottle was shaped like a woman's body, and the alluring, rich scent that was contained therein. I haven't worn this fragrance since then, but if I could find it again, I would.

*** Fashion Ideas *** On beauty skincare... To ensure your PH balance is not disrupted, you will need to use a tone after the cleanser has been applied. Make sure that you take time to add a little lotion and massage to your routine as moisturizers make your skin look and feel soft and supple and can minimize the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Moisturizing beauty care products ensure that all the work you have just carried out to clean, tone and condition your skin does go to waste.

One discontinued perfume I miss badly is not a perfume at all, but a body spray. More accurately, a collection of them. Back in the late 80's, Parfums de Couer Designer Imposters came in body spray bottles that looked like people! The cap to the spray was usually a little hat. I cannot find these anywhere. When I was younger, I collected them. I think my fragrance phobic father threw them out -- which is why I don't have the empty bottles to this day. I remember presenting my music teacher with one that looked like a lounge singer with a microphone. Hmm, not sure if she still has it -- maybe I should look her up!
