Chanel Perfume -- Fine Fragrances from a Respected Fashion House

To this day, I remember sitting on the bed in my mother's room watching her curl her hair and apply her makeup. And after she was done, the final touch was a spritz of her favorite fragrance. Although she wore various perfumes throughout the years, her favorite has always been Chanel perfume. And for good reason! Chanel, the fine French fashion house, is famous for not only their pricey designer suits but also their absolutely delectable perfumes.

*** Fashion Ideas *** On beauty... Part of the problem with Western women is the need for immediate results, always expecting the cosmetic surgeon to save the day using invasive procedures that often end in failure. Beauty care products however, are formulated to work more naturally with the skin and are within almost everyone's budget with other health advantages as part of the package.

My mother prefers Chanel No. 5, which is a rich, warm scent that features neroli and ylang-ylang. To me, this is not a Chanel perfume for a young woman to wear. Maybe because it's a favorite of my mothers, I don't know -- I just associate Chanel No. 5 with maturity and sophistication. Although this scent can be worn during the day, I consider it more of a dressy, evening fragrance.

When it comes to the numbered Chanel perfume choices, I prefer No. 19 for myself. Chanel No. 19 is considered a green fragrance, and features notes like vetiver, cedar and oakmoss. There's a slight leathery note that works its way in, balanced out by the floral blend of rose, jasmine and iris. Complex and classy, No. 19 can be worn to the office or out on the town.

Coco Mademoiselle is another Chanel perfume that's worth a try. This fragrance is great for younger generations, as it contains hints of sweet, foody essences like caramel and vanilla, blended with floral and citrus notes. If you like perfume that's sweet, feminine, yet long lasting, give this one a spin!

Another Chanel perfume that I've loved on someone else is Chanel Allure. I worked with a woman who wore this everyday, and I loved it! Mandarin, water lily and bergamot come together to create a fragrance that lives up to its name -- this offering is definitely alluring!

*** Fashion Ideas *** Perfume, acne and skincare... Skin care treatments such as exfoliation skin peels, clean the skin and help control the spread of the condition; there is now a variety of this type of product available over the counter. These work towards removing dead skin cells, reducing the possibility of pore-clogging and bacteria development. There is a huge market for these types of acne skin care products as they don't require a consultation with a dermatologist. These formulations contain the chemical benzoyl peroxide and the naturally occurring salicylic acid; these ingredients are used to remove the additional oil in the pores of the skin.

Coco is another Chanel fragrance that's popular for good reason. Named after Chanel founder Coco Chanel, this scent is spicy and rich, definitely a grown up fragrance. Ideal for winter wear, Coco invokes the image of a woman dressed to the nines, perhaps in an expensive Chanel suit!

Other Chanel perfume choices include such scents as Cristalle, Allure Sensualle, and Bois de Iles. If you're seeking one of these classic scents for yourself, head to your local perfume counter. There you can try samples of each Chanel fragrance so you can find the one that works best on you.
